A look at Apple’s powerful approach to branding over the years

This is a great look back at the development of Apple’s brand, starting with Steve Jobs return to Apple. I found it fascinating, all the way through.

And once you’re done watching, take a read of John Gruber’s take on the video.

  1. I want to spin this around and imagine having some similarly great combination of marketing ideas and trying to apply them to pretty much any other company.

  2. Had no idea Mitchell and Webb did the Get A Mac ads in the UK!!!

Also got a good laugh when the 2006 iMac (looking identical to the 2019 iMac) appears at 5:25

Naturally, fanboy MacGruber missed the final point of the presentation: “Execute, execute, execute.”
