I’m assuming yes, since USB Mass Storage is USB Mass Storage.
(For real fun, find a USB-SCSI converter and connect it to something REALLY old.)
I’m not sure slapping on a USB converter to a legacy port will transform it into a USB Mass Storage Device. Interesting experiment.
