If you have kids in your life, I hope you are lucky enough to share these trackers with them.
Kids today are so lucky. We had to watch TV to track Santa.
Merry Christmas to all of our readers. We hope you have a happy, merry and safe holiday season!
Santa Trackers
There’s an article in the Washington Post (12/24) about the accidental phone call in 1955 that started NORAD’s Santa Tracker.
I would put a link but yadda, yadda.
I posted it here five years ago. 🙂 http://www.loopinsight.com/2013/12/16/why-did-norad-start-tracking-santa/
I acknowledge the Buddha within. ??♂️
just don’t let them call trump…
It’s a good, and touching, article.
Well I remember the TV local stations showing a bar at the bottom of the screen with Santa’s location as provided by NORAD. It was cool and told us when we absolutely had to be in bed.
Was it that long ago? Wow, time really does fly. How long has the Loop been going now?
Earliest Loop story I could find was posted on Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009 at 3:35 pm. PT.
I still remember Jim leaving you know where, and starting it with Peter. Thanks for searching, and have a great New Year!
He won’t be home, anyway. Off image-building.
