That’s the problem I have with them – they are less “exfoliating” and more “little torture devices”.

My mother preferred these sponges, possibly because they inflicted more pain the way she used them.
Even as a kid, I sort of knew they were organic, but had no idea how they were grown, especially after having read about the aquatic variety.
I might need to check them out again. I certainly have no love for the artificial variety.
