Hah! Would you do it? And if not for $100K, what’s your number?

Trivial.
Let’s see them have the guts to pick someone who doesn’t even own a smartphone now.
Snake oil company promises something.
Right.
Indeed. And failing that, pick someone whose job doesn’t require them to use a smartphone. They’re narrowing down the likely eligible quite a bit, no? Who’s left besides the technophobe elderly and the poor?
My mother.
Wait, she’s 93.
How about I give up vitaminwater for a year for $100,000 instead?
I think I would do it. At least I think I believe I could do it. Given my dissatisfaction with the current slate of iPhone offerings, and knowing that I don’t want to move to Android, I’ve begun wondering what it would be like to take a step back and revert back to a flip phone (if such a thing exists any more).
I’ve been reducing the tasks I do with a smartphone over the course of the last couple of years…but could I go cold turkey? I would miss maps most, I think. Assuming I could still text, I’m not sure I would miss much else terribly.
