I received my iPhone XR this week and it is a fascinating device. Apple loaded it with advanced features with very little compromise. Dave and I talk about my first impressions.

This report is quite different from most reviews about how the iPhone XR is lacking in many ways and how consumers are no longer interested in purchasing iPhones this season. Mostly, it’s the usual complaints about iPhones not having enough new features or how they’re too expensive to be worth the upgrade to a new iPhone. I don’t think I’d seen any reviewers calling the XR a fascinating device.
As far as compromises go, most reviewers showed their distaste for the LCD display and the single lens camera. I’m glad to hear someone liked the XR. According to many news articles, no one around the world is waiting in front of Apple retail stores to buy the iPhone XR.

My white iPhone XR is the best looking iPhone I’ve owned and I’ve owned every one since the original. It makes my iPhone 8 look like it was made in the 90’s
