If you’ve never played the guitar, this is a fun way to learn a bit about tuning. And if you play the guitar, make your way down the page and try your hand at tuning by ear.
Nice implementation.

…but you can’t tuna fish.
I don’t want to get pedantic over a fun online toy, but one thing puzzles me. Am I the only person who was taught that you have to “tune UP”..? I mean, if your string is high, you never seek the tuning downward. You always crank the string down and seek the tuning while the pitch is going up. The rationale I heard was that the tuners lock better when turning the pitch up, but are unreliable tuning down. I dunno, maybe this was from the time when I played instruments with wooden tuning pegs and fine-adust on the bridge.
play the scales
tuning by ear is only relative. Long live the cheap tuner.
That’s what my guitar teacher taught me 40+ years ago.
