Japan uses a lot of English in their media, for a variety of reasons. Usually, it’s decorative (even when spoken), but 5 or 6 years ago, it became required education to teach students English, I believe. Japan has a pretty big translation industry, as well, due to Japan’s heavy influence on the global electronics and video game business.
