It’s live! After years of planning and months of work with our developer, Eli Van Zoeren, we’ve finally pulled back the curtains on our new Internet infrastructure. If you’re reading this in email, head over to the TidBITS Web site to take a look and click around — all 28 years of TidBITS articles and comments are there.
I’d like to explain more about various aspects of the system, since it’s vastly different from the homebrew system that Glenn Fleishman created for TidBITS nearly a decade ago. Yes, it really has been that long.

It’s about time! I noticed the new site is now accessible-friendly like press tab on the keyboard to navigate thru and the menu dropdown worked well.
Now if only Daringfireball and Loop update their sites INCLUDING the comments in mobile – that would be great. 🙂
Good clean design. Now if this site would let me read and make comments when I’m on mobile, I’ll consider that a big win.
Daring Fireball hasn’t allowed comments, on mobile or otherwise, for years – if ever.
I don’t remember ever having seen comments on DF.
Glad they tidied up the clutter.
I was hedging my bets but I don’t think Gruber has ever allowed them.
Considering how fastidious his site’s design has always been, I think comments are something I’d remember.
