My niece did something similar when we were all paying the bill. I looked over just in time to see her spit out a huge blob of wasabi. I guess she was still hungry.
That internal battle around the discovery process can be hilarious and seems universal. Ours regularly ate lemons and limes, sometimes like an apple (organic, so no need to call child services).
