Don’t know if it’s the best Beatles cover ever, but given that this is two people busking in the subway, that’s a helluva performance. Sweet, sweet harmonies.
The best Beatles cover ever?

That’s great. They really do have a nice Lennon-McCartney style of vocalization and harmony which was a big part the Beatles’ early hits.
Pretty smart choice of tune on their part. I hope cops leave them alone long enough for them to make some money.
Looks a bit like the F train platform at 6th Avenue; I remember that one well.
Subways make for such wonderful acoustics. I still remember a flute player in a skytrain station from when I was a child. It was the most haunting music I’d heard, and it echoed wonderfully.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to rush to get somewhere, only to hear a great combo—MTA-sanctioned or not—make me curse that I couldn’t stick around. It got to the point where I’d just drop a ten-spot, pick up a CD, and keep rushing.
Wow, they’ve really got it. If you find more of them, please post.
