What a cool use of crowdsourcing data.
My father has a huge vinyl collection. He wants to pair it down some. This is going to be a lot of work.

I pared down my own collection a few years ago, with the help of a relatively local record shop that is indeed listed on VinylHub, as it turns out.
The odd and unique LPs I held onto are still awaiting a turntable I haven’t obtained yet. I still haven’t finished converting old audiocassettes, either.
First, fixed “pair”, I hate when do that…
How was the return rate? Was it worth it? These are primarily classical and jazz records.
For the equivalent of two milk-crates full of LPs, of those they were willing to take, we averaged about a dollar each. Somewhat more for limited-edition pressings.
Had they not been within relatively convenient driving distance, I’d have donated the records to the local library instead.

Thanks for the link. Big place!
I liked it when I was there. Ended up getting a George Thorogood CD to replace one of the outgoing LPs.
If it was within walking distance, I’d be in trouble.
