The absolute fastest way to preorder iPhone X

It’s too bad Apple makes you sign in with carrier to buy an iPhone X even if I’m choosing to pay for it in full. I couldn’t pre-order because I don’t have a carrier login for the verizon or sprint phone I wanted to buy for full price! So dumb they don’t just sell unlocked versions at launch without needing to sign into a carrier.
