I had no idea BuzzFeed was developing and selling hardware and this may be a complete bust but the idea – cooking made easier through technology – is one I can get behind as a beginning cook myself.
I’m all for technology making our lives easier. I wonder if, in the long run, this will be better than learning basic cooking skills or if will teach those skills through repeated use.

Good point. I think it would depend on the individual – whether they want to learn further skills. As a beginner myself, I like learning new recipes and cooking tips and skills.

Very true. I guess it really doesn’t matter if you don’t want to learn. Hopefully this will at least save those who don’t like to or want to learn how to cook some money by not eating out all of the time.
That guy made me less interested in learning more.
Too bad they didn’t get Lonely Sandwich to do that video for them.

The cnet article had a few details including the question of how this $149 appliance compares with the $299 Paragon. (The lower price is much easier to swallow.)
