Rewatching the video reminds me of the insane excitement of the launch. I doubt we’ll ever see another product that generates this level of enthusiasm in such a wide range of people.

Interesting to measure the impact of the iPhone in that video by how many people are there and not recording anything with an actual “smartphone”.
Nobody knew that this device would create the biggest company in the history of the world. The analysts and pundits were as dumb as cows standing in a field staring at a new fence.
