FOX Sports:
But why should I care now?
Because playoff hockey is amazing and one of the greatest viewing experiences in sports. At the end of the Stanley Cup Final all the players say the f-word on TV as they pass around giant trophy that everybody gets to kiss. It’s a lot of fun.
As a Canadian, I feel it is my duty and obligation to post this for our American readers. You’re welcome.
As someone that doesn’t follow hockey, even though my team is playing (I’m a Nashville native), I appreciate this.
First, the “loser” epithet – I believe Vancouver has trademarked that word, despite Colorado’s epic run this year.
Second, no team with the colors yellow, black and/or white has uniforms that don’t suck.
Third, no trade that doesn’t contain Don Sweeney’s signature can really qualify as “bad”.
Thanks…I like the Sharks jerseys.
You’re very welcome.
Go Leafs, G…oh

“Wait, you mean to tell me Nashville, Tennessee has a hockey team?
Yep! They’re quite good and the city has grown to love them. It’s becoming a really fun hockey town and their crowds are wild and loud.”
Um, nice try Fox Sports. Chicago and Winnipeg have loud arenas, I doubt Nashville is even in the top 10 “wild and loud”.
I’ve been to games in Nashville. They are quite loud. And no one said they were in the “top ten”.
