My favorite bit is that they accounted for the buoyancy of this thing in air 🙂 I wouldn’t have imagined it displaced so much air. But they’ve taken that into account. Totally awesome.
Gravity, air density, relative humidity, seismic activity. I like to think Apple tries to focus this finely, at a much smaller level.

So is the dust heavier than the air – I guess this is in a fairly clean environment, yet my computers create dust bunnies all the time.
One of the coolest things I worked with in college was a gravity meter that would resolve differences in gravitational force down to the equivalent of about a foot of elevation.
When measuring force with weight, they probably not only take into account the force of gravity, but the fact that the same mass located at the top of this weight will actually be slightly lighter than the same mass located at the bottom of the weight.
