Very sad. My daughter (now 24) learned the lyrics to Black Hole Sun before her ABC’s. To this day we throw that song on when we’re hanging out together.
My Teens were fuled by Nirvana, Soundgarden, STP and Snot… All of their singers are now gone. Hope Trent Reznor and Eddie Vedder are in good health. Not sure what i’d do.

Absolute loudest show I ever went to… saw them at CBGBs of all places – was way up front, 2 songs in I had to go across the bowery and it was STILL too loud.
Fantastic band, sorry to see him go out like this.
