i not know about back to future
Whilst not as big as these films…my daughter spent an evening filming TV ads for a department store’s new line of Star Wars toys. She and another three kids were fed, clothed, had makeup, got freebies, were paid several hundreds of dollars each; filmed, directed, lighted for about four hours…and not one second was used. It all went to waste.
Now that was just a bunch of ads. Can’t imagine the cost involved when it comes to a film.
“We’ll build the plane while we’re flying it” works for improv, but very little else. Especially if you’re on a deadline, with a budget.
Challenge accepted! I get to pick the deadline and budget.
