What a beautiful guitar.
Stats are nice, and all custom shop models are pretty nice and very playable
FYI Jim: Direct links to the Fender.com site don’t work outside the U.S. For example, in Canada, we’re redirected to the international home page. They started doing this 2 years ago, I think and never bothered fixing this. Fender is going through a transition where they are going to sell direct in some markets (U.S), but still use dealers internationally, sometime with HUGE price differences. Redirecting international online visitors makes sure they never see U.S pricing and can’t order direct.
You think Clapton uses the noiseless pickups? Not so sure.
This just caught me out. Wanted to see the guitar, followed the link, was dumped onto the UK Fender home page. Even though the guitar is on the UK website. Sigh. I’d tweet about the guitar, but there’s no link I can safely use.
Clapton does use noiseless pickups. The new generation fender noiseless are quite good. He also has a push/pull midrange boost.
Hmmm, I’ll have to consider that.
