This is a great article by Jason Snell on some of the things that Apple may do in the future to help podcasting and those that make them. I honestly don’t think Apple will do anything to help the small podcaster, but they’ll do what they can to help the huge people in the business. In other words, exactly what they did with publications on Newsstand.
Apple’s next chapter in podcasting
Some think Apple hasn’t done enough for the platform. Then there are people who were there at the very beginning that think what Apple’s done thus far to integrate podcasts into Mac OS and iOS is laudable.
But maybe the critics like Marrow and Delvac have a point. Look at what Google and Amazon has done for podcasting. Oh, wait….
Its surprising Eddie knows what podcasting is. He must have discovered Jalen and Jacoby recently, or something. Like many, many other things languishing at Apple, podcasting was once taken a lot more seriously.
