TweetDelete.net will automatically delete your tweets after a certain amount of time has passed. While this is definitely an interesting idea, not sure I get the use case. Given that all tweets are backed up almost as soon as they are issued, deleting your tweets won’t keep them off the net. And there’s no limit to the number of tweets you can have.
But an interesting idea.
I’ve had this activated for a couple years now. The way I see it: Given that Twitter is ultimately conversational and original content is best published in more sustainable places (like blogs), it’s highly unlikely that anything you say will matter more than 30 days later… and even if it is, it’s usually a dick wag that you were right about something. True, nothing is stopping a hater from watching and archiving your account every single day, but if that’s your concern then don’t tweet dumb shit or simply don’t use Twitter at all.
