NV Energy and Apple announced today they have reached an agreement to build 200 megawatts of additional solar energy in Nevada by early 2019. The projects will support Apple’s renewable energy needs for its Reno data center.

Exactly. Just as the current government is moving to remove all incentives to produce alternative energy (a.k.a. commie pinko power). How can the government subsidize a healthy future for the world when they need to pay corporate welfare to the oil and coal companies?

They should use the tax revenue from big oil to subsidize future power …
Maybe Apple could do something useful – such as build computers (those things can are big, fast and upgradable) and also build some molten salt power.
