  1. Not sure people should be perpetuating the “Crazy” part of this. Seems more than a little racist.

  2. This needs Jonny Ive’s voice over… “Our customers asked us for a new Mac Pro and we listened. We’ve invented a whole new way to create the shell starting with a 3 ton ingot of raw steel.”

  3. Tell me what non-Asians would be described as “crazy” doing this? Are you really not familar with the western habit of seeing Asian culture as crazy or incomprehensible?

Do you really think if this was happening in Italy it would say “Crazy Italians”?

What makes these Chinese smith’s “Crazy”? Or is the process “crazy” (meaning dangerous? not sure what’s even crazy here.) Then the description should read something like “Crazy way Chinese smith’s forge…”.

But otherwise if you don’t see the adjective crazy applied to Chinese people as a problem then, well, good luck to you.

and I love your condescending response.

  4. Ah. Got it. You are associating the word “crazy” with “Chinese”. You say, “Do you really think if this was happening in Italy it would say “Crazy Italians”?” Yes, that’s exactly the way I would describe it.

  5. I’m not associating crazy with Chinese. That literally is what your verbatim use of the YouTube video description says.

  6. “With entirely custom machinery,” –PLONK– “we delicately shape the fi” -PLONK- “ne contours of the high precision stee” -PLONK- “eel aluminiuminumum into the most advance” -PLONK- “ed design…”

  7. Yeah, not sure what’s so “crazy”, “mindboggling”, or in fact “on the street” about this either…

I’d agree with “not quite as high tech as some other forgeries”, okay. But, hey, they get ‘er done just fine.
