trying to understand how this is genius but coming up empty.
Canadians east of the extreme left coast have been clearing backyard, and pond ice rinks in this manner for about a century. Just replace the hover board with Ice skates, and you’re gold.
Edit: I’d hire the kid whose investment was just the shovel. He has less overhead to recover, and could be paid less for the same job.
Except it doesn’t work with snow of any significant depth or on a slope. Exactly the conditions where there’s no point hiring a kid to shovel for you.
As soon as the surface gets slippery, he’s down! Not fun.
Seems like a pretty dry powder as well.
