DirecTV Now streaming TV service
I haven’t been able to find a list of channels the new service will offer, but it seems clear they are going after PlayStation Vue and Sling TV.
As usual, AT&T lied on stage when saying it would cost $35 for everything. That’s a promotional price, and it doesn’t include everything. And local channels aren’t guaranteed to work in your area. And live sports will likely not work in your area. And local channels may or may not include ABC. And the Cloud-DVR service won’t be ready until next year and will cost extra…
So basically you’re going to end up paying nearly as much just for this service, and be forced to use Apple’s absolutely craptacular remote & TV software to access it from a TV set.
Here’s a listing of all the channels per tier: http://www.denverpost.com/2016/11/28/directv-now-100-channel-internet-tv-plan/
