Two minor nitpicks about Portrait Mode though:
1. You can’t be too close to the subject
2. The subject needs to be brightly lit
Agreed, however I’m glad they released a beta so it can improve faster. Overall I love portrait mode.
With all due respect, these are at best above average P&S photos, and hardly praise-worthy. Certainly, few demonstrate the possibility that DSLRs are threatened by the likes of Apple. There are better iPhone images out there. Way better.
