Posters for sequels we’ll never see may restore your faith in creativity

io9:

SEQUEL 2 opens on November 30, both online and at the gallery proper. You’ll be able to find it here, and below you can check out a few of the pieces in the show. In each, check out tons of small Easter Eggs that hint at what each artist thinks the sequel could be about.

I’d pay good money to see the sequel to Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

  1. Sequels are too often Hollywood’s way of squeezing another cup out of an old tea bag. But some of these are very, very good.

And those Python caricatures are hilarious.

  2. “I’d pay good money to see the sequel to Close Encounters of the Third Kind.” – careful what you wish for.

I was hoping for the sequels to Ghostbusters for decades…

    great posters, though.
