This is a Mac event for sure. Sure hope there’s a new Mac Pro. Otherwise my leased 2013 Mac Pro at work becomes our property and no updates. Oh well, it’s still a pretty sweet rig. At home it’s more than adequate. Likely my last desktop.
I’m sort of hoping this event doesn’t make me wish I hadn’t bought an iMac in July. But it probably will.
I’m surprised that I’ve only seen very few comments on the web so far that the “hello again” tagline is a rather uninspired rehash of the “Hello (again)” tagline from the original iMac’s introduction in 1998, which referenced the “Hello” from 1984’s Macintosh unveiling. Can’t innovate my ass? Hmm. Well, the marketing certainly seems out of steam.
