Apple’s Photos app for the iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV includes a powerful yet underrated feature, called Memories, which scans your media library to unearth your cherished or forgotten events, trips and people such as a weekend hike, your baby’s first birthday, a year’s best photos and videos, etc.
Memories collates these items in gorgeous collections and even creates animated slideshows from them. In this tutorial, you will learn how to get started with Memories, create your own animated slideshows, customize them to your liking with photos, videos, music, titles and much more.
Good stuff. Well done.
If a feature needs a “How to use…” article in order to be discovered and, you know, USED by people, then something seems a little off.
Little bit. Photos for iOS isn’t helpful to me. I had no problem with iPhoto’s UI or its “Events,” and I didn’t need it replaced by iOS’s.
If you need an article to discover and learn how to use Memories, then that says more about you than the app. Memories is dead simple and easily discovered.
and yet there are entire magazines and websites for topics such as Mac and iOS. your conclusion is flawed because people have their own reasons for producing content.
