I’ll leave it to the camera pros to do a side-by-side comparison between the Pixel and the iPhone 7 Plus cameras. Bold claim, though.
Oh, and right there in the middle of the video:
3.5mm headphone jack satisfyingly not new
Yeah, we know who that was aimed at.
“No unsightly camera bump*”
*Because it’s thicker than any iPhone since the 4S.
and because it has no OIS either.
Why does everyone take jabs at Apple for removing the headphone jack when LG and Motorola did it first? Is it more satisfying to tout keeping old technology than it is to chide Apple for copying “yet again?”
And I think most people put their phones in cases, thus making no unsightly camera bump, also.
There are a ton of decent things to mention, and they have to throw in camera bumps and headphone jacks? Hmmm.
I have just ordered an iPhone 7+ and have no regrets but I do think this looks like a great phone and that the ad is brilliantly funny. Really Blue is genius!
