U Kentucky is suing its own student newspaper

Earlier this month, the university announced it would sue the Kernel over requests for documents involving the investigation of James Harwood, an associate professor of entomology accused of sexual assault and harassment in an investigation spanning seven months, after three years’ worth of allegations, according to the Kernel.

Respect to the student newspaper.

  1. FUCK the U of K!

This shit has gone on far too long in academia, covering for their faculty members who have ruined many young women’s attempt and desire to work in science related fields. The revelation this year of what people like Geoff Marcy had been doing to young women trying to advance in the field of astronomy for DECADES, while at the same time having these institutions threatening these same women with all kinds of legal action when they tried to file a complaint against him, is disgusting and is now finally being exposed to all.

The fall out in all fields is now finally being felt with the recent outage of that stellar human being known as Roger Ailes of Fox “News” who was forced to resign, (asshole should be arrested & thrown in jail, but that never happens to rich, connected scum like him).

The Kernel is reminding us all what media used to be like, before they were all bought out by these corporate shill cretins, which, for the most part, was to stand for integrity & honest reporting, no matter what the situation or who it was about.

I’m damn proud of these kids & hope they keep the pedal to the metal and see this thing through where they might counter sue the U of K board and expose them for what they have been doing, probably going back countless years themselves!

  2. To me this looks strongly like the U of K is doing a CYA in the case and went and got caught with their hands in it!
