Samsung mocks Apple for removing headphone jack

Okay, two things: First, Apple hasn’t removed the headphone jack, those are only rumors. Second, I’m saving this video for later because Samsung is pretty quick to copy everything Apple does.

P.S. Pay your debt to Apple, Samsung, you thieving bastards.

If Apple does indeed eliminate the 3.5mm jack in favor of the Lightening connector it will be far easier to make the iPhone water resistant, something Samsung’s purported water resistant Galaxy failed to prove in Consumer Reports tests.

The whole Android community is guilty of copying Apple’s iPhone design/capabilities, Samsung is just the most blatant and unrepentant. But TRYING to copy Apple isn’t that easy. Android’s mobile pay for instance is on nearly 3X as many handsets, but Apple Pay is used 4X more often. Ease of use, reliability and secure transactions aren’t a strong point with Android.

To all of those cry babies, wailing because they may have to use an adapter with their headset, you are overwhelmingly outnumbered by those desiring a water resistant iPhone.

Samsung, the Drumpf of tech – blowhard, fear-mongering and seemingly unable to make a constructive contribution. Does have large hands however…

I have some great headphones, they are huge though and I typically only use them for anti migraine purposes;; they’re not sound cancelling but very well insulated/sealed from outside noise.

I thought about it though, I’ve used them once since I bought the 6S, that was the other day to deal with shopping mall reflective noise which can hurt me really bad, cause seizures or at the least a migraine

If I need to use an adaptor once or twice a year to use them, nbd at all! They already have adaptors for different kinds of phones and mic plug setup, I use them primarily for PlayStation and watching Plex / bluray if I can’t sleep and don’t want to disturb the neighbors or my wife etc.

Do they know something we dont?

Not to mention, not everyone laughed. Methinks there were plenty in the audience thinking it just might be a good idea to follow Apples lead.

odd that he says removing the audio jack — since Lightning is also an audio jack.

you may want to consider a small portable DAC

I haven’t used the headphone jack in a long time..

listening without the DAC kind of sucks.

(I also had to re-rip all my lower bitrate tracks)

…removing the analog jack. leaving the digital.

    fixed.

Yes well they still are unable to align the holes of each feature at the bottom. LOOK AT THE DAMNED MESS! Yet another reason not to buy their stuff. Sloppy and distasteful design.

Ah they’re fine, but do need to be turned up about 25% louder than the buds that I use quite frequently.. thx tho!
