A group of 68 major corporations, including Apple, Cisco and eBay, have joined the legal effort to block a North Carolina law that targets the transgender community.
It’s already costing the state quite a bit economically. I have to think that’s going to get worse if big companies don’t want to do business there.
I’m ashamed of my iPhone today.
Governors and legislators in states like this don’t care about the economics. I live in Oklahoma where legislators recently passed (and the governor surprisingly did not sign) an abortion bill which the writer specifically said he hoed went all the way to the Supreme Court to fight for it. This despite an $18 Billion+ in debt with teachers being laid off right and left, an energy industry that has fracked itself into laying off hundreds of thousands of workers, and more. Kansas is in a horrible state, but they continue to push for bathroom legislation instead of dealing with their debt and unemployment issues.
They don’t care about anything except their bigoted agendae.
You shouldn’t care which iPhone is in the stall next to you. It just needs needs to pee and doesn’t care about you.

Stands to reason, if their legislative “business model” involves simply keeping their voter base angry at non-issues while they continue to profit from crony contracts. Divide, impoverish, and conquer.
