GrubHub rolls out Apple Pay support

While there are no stats yet from Grubhub’s rollout, Instacart’s checkout process is now 58 percent faster for customers who use Apple Pay compared to those using other payment methods, saving them about a minute each time they order.

I love Apple Pay and use it every chance I get. The convenience of using your fingerprint for payment is a big win for consumers.

  1. I want to use it everywhere, but my neck of the woods is so podunk that only a few places accept it. I really hope it integrates into more card readers that use NFC, so that even if the reader doesn’t officially support it, it will still work. I’m amazed by the lack of knowledge or interest in it. The current card readers are a joke, still utilizing a signature. The whole point of the chip enabled cards was to utilize a PIN, but we’re still using a f**!ing signature. Ugh, sorry for ranting.

  2. Right there with you. I want my fingerprint to be enough when I use Apple Pay. Tired of signing or entering a PIN that someone else can see.
