Colors play a significant role when it comes to design. However, not everyone can create coherent, suitable color concepts. Thus, there’s a bunch of web applications that help you find appropriate color combinations. Monochromatic colors can be compiled just as well as complementary colors.
Finding colors
I’ve used Paletton (previously Color Scheme Designer) for years on just about every website or app that I build. I like the looks of colourcode. I’ll be sure to try it out on my next project.
Another app I used to really like is Real Colors (before it was called Real Colors) for iOS. You can use it to create a color palette from photos. I’m not real happy that it forces you to create an account to use it now though. If anyone knows of an app with similar features, please let me know.
