That may be changing, though.
I read Dan’s piece with a lot of interest. This could be a great app for a lot of people on Apple TV. Comcast seems to want to do something to get the FCC off its back, and this could be it.
The IRS has a better reputation than Comcast.
All TV will eventually be a stream. ISPs will retrovision their systems to carry “channels” as bits and bytes.
The cable industry is not going to give up its stranglehold over the tv set.
And that, even with year-over-year budget cuts.
