Business Insider:
Some of these features are incredibly useful and make its products more enjoyable, while others are purely cosmetic. Regardless of the value they add to the overall experience, it’s fascinating to learn about the lengths Apple goes to when it comes to design and product development.
Here are 21 of our favorite examples of Apple’s obsession with detail.
Apple has always had this obsessive attention to detail. I love that some of these are so subtle you’d never notice them but Apple went to the effort to create them anyway.
They forgot to mention the way that Apple Pencil is weighted so it always ends up with the logo on top when you place it on a flat surface.

I would actually list the “slide to answer” a failure in the attention to detail department. Too often I’ll be in a meeting and my phone will ring. I find myself wishing that the big red decline button were front and center.

You can easily mute the ringer by pressing the lock button once and decline it with a second press. I do this any time my phone rings in a meeting and I don’t even have to look at my phone. This is definitely not a failure in my book.
