I use TextExpander currently. I will never use it as a subscription service at the current price point of almost $50 per year. As someone pointed out, the 3 year cost is now almost $150. I will be sorry when my current version breaks, but I won’t be strong-armed into a subscription service. Talking to my nerd friends informally the consensus seems to be that they feel the same way. I think Smile made a mistake.
