Zakk Wylde launches new guitar line at Guitar Center

It’s in the fingers, not the guitar. I own over 20 guitars and my favorite is a Mexican Telecaster that I paid almost nothing for, doesn’t matter what genre you play.
I like the move by Wylde. He’s actually playing these instruments. Unlike Fake Frehley, aka Tommy Thayer, who advertises an Epiphone he wouldn’t play on stage (he plays a Gibson.) This is not a slam on Tommy – grab the cash, man. I would if I could. But like Rob Chapman, Zakk is actually playing these, which means they are great instruments.
I agree! With a caveat – the guitar has to be set up correctly and play decently. No plywood bodies. A MIM Tele is, out of the box, a good guitar, in my opinion. I have one, too. Roll the edges of the neck and it’s darn good.
That kinda did sound, mean, because I said “Fake Frehley.” I was trying for funny. I loved KISS growing up and people tell me Tommy is a great guy. He is a great player, and I’m happy for him, and he has good taste in guitars and pickups.
