Photos from Yosemite taken with my DxO ONE camera for iPhone

I recently went to Yosemite for the CoacoConf conference and took some pictures with my DxO ONE 20.2 megapixel camera for iPhone. I’m not a great photographer by any stretch, but I do love this camera. I thought I’d share some of the pictures I took on my walk.

  1. I used to climb there. 5th image from the top on the right shows a small detached tower just to the left of Yosemite Point called The Lost Arrow Spire. I climbed that the late ‘1970’s with my then girlfriend. Great climb (all aid back then) and when I got to the top everyone in the parking area of the general store honked their horns. I almost fell off (I was tied in).

I haven’t been back to Yosemite since 1990, I doubt I’d enjoy it as much now, too many folks shooting pictures with iPhones (joke, I’d be doing same).

  2. Did you take any of the same shot with the built in camera? Not to rain on your good time, but those shots don’t show me anything to make me think the camera is at all worth the money.

  3. The DXO One is worth the money if you want to shoot in RAW for editing the pic, shooting lower light conditions, or if you want to print large pictures.
