AC/DC are forced to reschedule the 10 upcoming dates on the U.S. leg of their “Rock or Bust” World Tour. AC/DC’s lead singer, Brian Johnson, has been advised by doctors to stop touring immediately or risk total hearing loss.
Tomorrow’s show in Atlanta through Madison Square Garden in New York, NY in early April will be made up later in the year, likely with a guest vocalist. More information regarding these rescheduled shows to come. Current ticket holders can hold on to their tickets for the rescheduled dates or receive a refund at point of purchase.
Very sad news for AC/DC. Personally, I don’t want to see a show with a guest vocalist.

We saw them a couple of weeks ago in Chicago, at the United Center. I measured 105dB way up in the nose-bleeds. So that’s several hundred feet away from the PA stacks. I’m all for rock ‘n’ roll, but they were pointlessly loud. I have poor hearing in my left ear due to my Marshall always being there, so can relate in a small way to how bad the band’s ears get beaten on a regular basis.

Jimmy Barnes could be a great fit – similar age and even background to the rest of AC/DC. Both immigrants from England landing in Adelaide.
He’s got the voice – he was once considered for Van Halen before Hagar got the nod.
And his main band, Cold Chisel, just wrapped up a huge tour so he’s available and probably ready to roll.
Turns out their loud music had nothing to do with it.
