Here’s a hint: They are owned by only three companies, none of them Apple.
And that said, Apple does not yet have a billion iPhone users. Though Apple has sold just about a billion iPhones since inception (I remember when selling 10 million iPhones seemed an amazingly unreachable achievement), that’s not the same thing as having a billion users.

True. That would put Safari and iTunes on the list for sure.
Apple has sold a billion iOS devices – not necessarily all iPhones. But many of those would be to the same user. Probably more like 350 million iOS users.
Would have thought iTunes on Mac / PC would be their biggest app in terms of usage by unique users.
How does Windows count in this list but iOS doesn’t?
Apple has one billion active devices, 782 million iCloud accounts, and well over 900 million iTunes accounts. Apple average revenue per user/device/account is astronomical compared to all but Windows/Office.
