We obsess over the government having a backdoor to our iPhones while in the front door we invite in companies to listen to what we’re talking about in private. Odd times.
“To order your Echo Dot, use your Amazon Echo or Amazon Fire TV and just ask:”
So you have to already have an Echo or Fire TV to buy a Dot.
Shame, since otherwise I might have done so.
Presumably eventually they’ll open up ordering.
Everyone I know who has one of these thinks they’re a piece of junk. Not to mention you can already do everything the Echo can with an iOS device connected to a speaker.
I can’t stand when companies repackage old tech and try to pass it off as something new and revolutionary.
