Residents in a Sunnyvale neighborhood say a secretive Apple facility is changing the face of their neighborhood, for the worse.
“At three in the morning, they have deliveries. It’s very dark, very secretive. We don’t know what’s going on, but almost every night there is noise that wakes the dogs up,” Joann Porter said.

Are there noise ordinances? Are people overreacting? Either way, seems like bad PR, a problem Apple should address.
One more question – Was Dave (and other Apple bloggers) driving over to this location to take pictures even as the article was being written?
If the entire neighborhood had Flash installed they wouldn’t hear a thing.

Wouldn’t think an electric engine would be kicking out that much noise would it? Any Tesla owners out there that can comment?
If you know or look at the map of the area, there are mostly businesses down that street, and it is off of an expressway! Unless the noise is super loud I don’t see how it can be as bothersome was the neighbors say.
And yet no one has made a report to the city. JFHC, people are lame.
I have the same issue here, I feel their pain! http://www.toorakpark.com/ This thing is slowly killing my whole suburb, costing small fortune in vet bills and getting about 3 hours sleep a night. They say they start at 7am but they are moving huge machinery in from about 2am onwards, get very loud at 5. Trying to not blame the workers as its not their schedule but it’s getting hard!
