1 Password has become one of my must-have apps on Mac and iOS.

One of my most used apps on my iPhone and Mac. Superb app and superb developer too on the rare occasion I’ve needed help.
Just buy it. The two factor support (e.g. Google Authenticator) is just the bestiest.
Still not showing up as update on Mac Appstore.
Sometimes I think about life before 1Password and I shudder. Don’t look back, it’s too dark.
According to AgileBits/1Password’s website. There are two ways you can purchase 1Password. One you can purchase from the AgileBits website and secondly you can purchase from the Mac App Store.
1Password 6 is available now if your version was purchased through AgileBits website. But the Mac App Store version is waiting on approval by Apple.
Yeah me too. I used to use (like many others I imagine) the same password.
After a while I used PWsafe (from around 2003 in my Windows days) and continued to use this up until around 2010. Good as it is, I find it has limited functionality compared to 1Password.
After that I tried LastPass, which was really good, but later when I tried 1Password, I found it much better than the other two password management applications. Luckily the password applications I mentioned had an export facility and 1Password was able to read/import it and use it. Very glad has I had over five hundred passwords.
I purchased 1Password when it was on version 3. Since then AgileBits have given free upgrades so I have not needed to purchase an upgrade/update, which a lot of app developers do not.
Don’t buy it through the App Store – the updates lag far behind.
Buying from the Mac App Store gives you the most flexibility, since you can then use either. If you buy from AigleBits’ website, you can only use version from AgileBits’ website.

You can buy on the Mac App Store and update from AgileBits’ website: https://support.1password.com/switch-from-mac-app-store/
