This is a great tip. In a nutshell, if you accidentally scrub to a new location on your Apple TV remote, tap the remote’s menu button and, bammo, you’re back where you were. Cool.

I think nothing is cool in the new remote. The ergonomic is terrible, is too symmetric so in dark light I often keep in up/down side and use menu instead volume and so on. Add the lack of Siri in Italy and you have no reason to use it and not the old-one.
i agree that its not very ergonomic and could be better shaped. but scrubbing is awesome. and siri is great. it will get to your country when they finish training it on the pronunciations for actor names in italian.
