You think you’ll be able to buy it in-store on Friday?
Bought it, after having major address issues with Apple Pay on my iPhone 6s.
Turns out when I added Apple Pay, it added a separate address on my BofA card. Which then became my secondary address, with the full zip code. My “Home” address at BofA did not have the extra four numbers, which means Apple saw the wrong address and told me I had billing address issues, but not what they were. If you have the same problem, that’s could be it. Had to call BofA and they were able to fix the problem. (This public service announcement brought to you by my not having anything better to do at the moment.)
Mine ships in 3-4 days. But I wonder if Apple is going to do what they did with the Apple Watch with this too? They kept the watch online-only for almost two months. Now it’s even in Target.
Free shipping made it a no-brainer. Can’t hurt to call the store.
I asked the online-chat person to try and get a solid answer. All they know is that it’ll be in store later this week so as I’m only a 2min walk away from the Regent Street store, London, I wanted to head home with it in hand rather than go pick it up from the depot or not even be at home over the weekend when it may get delivered. Pretty much just wanted the damn thing to arrive at home when I’m at home and being lazy about picking it up form the depot 😀
