It turned out to be quite a close-run race between the iPhone 6S and the Galaxy Note 5 for the title but Apple’s latest just beat Samsung’s latest with 38.2 and 34.1 percent of the 7810 votes respectively.
Hard not to be impressed with this result.

I had a lot of laughs reading the comment sections. They are SO desperate to find another reason why the iPhone won. It just verifies why I’ve had to stop hanging around with anyone that owns an Android phone (and insists on preaching about it). If they aren’t gushing about who did X first they are trying to convince people not to buy iPhones. What ever happened to just enjoying one’s device?
It’s tribalism for gadget fans. Sports fans have teams, car fans have brands, gadget fans too.
Good thing because you seem like a horrible person if you stop hanging out with anyone just because they have a shitty android phone. Even though there are stupid people like you said, you failed to point out the other people on the site who disagreed with the conspiracy theorists and generalized all of them as fanboys.
I remember a Linux enthusiast friend with whom it was difficult to have a civil conversation about computing or consumer tech. Of course, he later became an Android devotee, and our conversations became even more contentious.
We haven’t spoken for awhile.
So the average person likes the iPhone, the professionals liked other phones. I like whatever phone is in my pocket, currently an iPhone 6 Plus.
