The Chapman University Survey of American Fears, Wave 2 (2015) provides an unprecedented look into the fears of average Americans. In April of 2015, a random sample of 1,541 adults from across the United States were asked their level of fear about eighty-eight different fears across a huge variety of topics ranging from crime, the government, disasters, personal anxieties, technology and many others.
A little light reading going into your weekend. The list is interesting. How does it correspond to your personal fears and worries? I think it’s hilarious that “Zombies” and “Clowns” rank at all, let alone enough to make the list. And having “Obamacare” at 35.7% followed closely by “Illness” at 34.4% is kind of ironic.
It is totally Ironic that fear of corruption is on top, and at the same time people continues to vote for politicians who are completely in the pocket of big money. Also the the same corrupt politicians refuse to accept global warming, but global warming is a long way down? Why on earth does people fear Obama Care?
Better title would be “America’s top irrational fears of 2015”

I’m not afraid of Obamacare. I’m pissed off about the fools opting for more and more socialism, while they poison themselves with drugs, alcohol, and crappy nutrition. Obamacare isn’t about to care for anyone’s health. It will further penalize those who work and pay for it, while euthanizing those stupid enough to resort to it.
Well, at least it proves that being afraid of stupidity is not irrational , and that mass delusion works just fine. You can live in the richest country with the worst public schools of any developed country, the highest incarceration rate on earth, more people killed and injured by firearms than in most war zones, and still only worry about bullshit. What they are really afraid of is called “truth”.
